Three story building design with guestroom entries facing open courtyard and pool area. Windows from guest bedrooms face desert and mountain views. Interior landscaping is southwestern desert style, with three Spanish fountains, charming rose garden area, and terra cotta tile work. The hotel is surrounded by the Santa Rosa, San Jacinto and San Bernardino Mountain ranges. We are located in the center of the Coachella Valley at 42 feet above sea level. We receive approximately 3 inches of rain per year, making this area a perfect getaway location for travelers all year long. The Embassy Suites is situated near over 80 golf courses which are within a fifteen mile radius. On site we offer six championship, lighted, hard surface tennis courts, the use of which is complimentary to all hotel guests. We have an 18-hole putting green and over 10,000 square feet of divisible meeting space. The swimming pool is outdoor and heated. A jacuzzi-style whirlpool spa is located in the spacious pool area, and many reclining chairs are available for sitting or sunning by the pool. El Paseo is an upscale shopping and dining district located less than two miles from the hotel. St. John Boutique, Saks Fifth Avenue, Troy, Escada, Ann Taylor, Williams-Sonoma, Countess Mara, Brooks Brothers, and Tommy Bahama's are some of the shopping establishments on El Paseo, known also as the "Rodeo Drive of Palm Desert." We are located two miles from the Tennis Gardens at Indian Wells, and six miles from the La Quinta Resort and Club which offers six golf courses.
